    Default Central Locking WTF!

    Hi All,

Just boght my new car a KH Verada, replacing the TE, all is good. Except for today when I locked the doors with the remote, they all locked then unlocked themselves......??

Now whenever I press the lock button all the doors lock then unlock straigh away after. Even if I use the key in the driver door, they will all lock then unlock. grrrrr

Ive checked the obvious i.e. door not shut properly, boot switch, bonnet switch etc, and they are all working, all the locking actuators work, and now im very confused. Only way I can lock the car is to shut all the door locks manualy in the car, then shut the drivers door manually, very annoying.

Anyone had this problem, my only guess is a sense line in the drivers door has fallen of, or shorting out, making the car think that the actuator isnt working......Stupid car.

    ANyhelp??

    Thanks

Might find that one of the doors is not locking and the door locking device is defaulting and unlocking. When you are locking look and see if the catches are working on the doors, one may not be closing 100%.

YEah checked that, but they all seem to be lockign properly.

Ive had a look at the circuit diagram for the locking, and only the front two doors have a line connected which tells the car if its open or shut, so im guessing one of those wires has fallen off and shorted to ground.

I think ill pull the trim of when i get home... grrrrrrr
